Zen = Mind

This last week I started reading a book by Roshi Philip Kapleu. It is about “Awakening to Zen”, about the essential ways of living life, about how the universe in relates to us, and most important about our friendship and relation with everything existent.
To breath in the air, to see the drops of water falling on the desert, to see the blessing of nature upon us, to empty one’s self and to see the clearnes that the rain brings through the eyes of the self, all these, blessings, blessings, blessings.
Water is water.
Air is air.
Fire is fire.
Earth is earth.
We are We. Nothing else.
Remember, smoke is not fire. Smoke is smoke. Fire is fire.
We are not the mind. We are we.
Walking in the path of existence, a drunk appears. He smiles and enjoys life. He is himself living to the full extent of his drunkenness. He smiles, he is aware. He lives, he is perfection.
Words, many words. Experience is the true voice. Be alive when you speak; speak from who you are, from your gut, from your inner self that understands how perfect you are, not from the anywhere else.
Words. I am but a part of this universes walking hand in hand with you. I kiss you teachers of light and darkness. I am but a part of you. Your words are my words, my words are yours. Teaching me, teaching you.
Silence.
We learn.
